Each one of us
arrives whole.
Each of us arrives in this world whole — sovereign, complete, of infinite worth. None of us has to earn the right to exist.
The economy we inherited has it backwards. It treats living beings as a cost — and accumulating things as the point. That's the inversion. It is not a metaphor; it is the arithmetic.
And yet most of us already live the other way. We care for our people. We make something useful. We leave the place a little better. That part is not missing.
What's missing is the infrastructure to live this way at scale — by consent, with the right to leave intact, with the rules visible to all of us.
That's what this is.
Not a manifesto. A design for the alternative — written down, stress-tested in simulation, and yours to build.
If the economy got it backwards, here's how we propose to turn it right side up.
See how value flows to youHere is exactly what we mean.
Here it is, once — five inherited rules turned right side up, each with the article of the constitution that holds it that way.
| The inverted arrangement | Right side up | Held there by |
|---|---|---|
| The base serves the apex | Every layer serves the layers beneath it§2.4 | §2.4 |
| Value is measured by the exit | Value is measured by what it buys inside§8.10 | §8.10 |
| Consent presumed; dissent must prove itself | Consent measured continuously, and revocable§2.7 | §2.7 |
| Value flows from the many to the few | Money is born at each living human being§5.3 | §5.3 |
| Holding rewarded, circulation taxed | Circulation rewarded, holding decays§6.4 | §6.4 |
None of this is running yet. Every line in the upright column is a design commitment written into the constitution at the article beside it — something you can read today, and hold us to.
- IThe living human being is the source of value — recognised by birth
- IINatural Law — do no harm, honor agreements
- IIIFederation by design — minimal global, maximal local
The failure patterns of history,
cured in the architecture
What follows names the four deepest inherited failure patterns and the cure built into the design for each — then completes the architecture at world scale. The diagnoses stay published even though the cures are built in, because a protocol that asks for trust must show its work, not just its conclusions.
A signature in the Registry is a political declaration with zero individual legal effect — it exempts no one from any law, tax or obligation, anywhere.
Read the legal reality →
The firewall, restated where it matters most. None of the above alters what a signature is: a political declaration with zero individual legal effect. It exempts no one from any law, tax, or obligation of any existing order, anywhere, and every campaign in every jurisdiction states this at the moment of signing. A signature here is a declaration, not an exemption: it changes what is counted, never what you owe. Keep meeting your commitments in full — the strength of this instrument is in how many of us sign, not in what any single signature could excuse. The power has never resided in what one signature does — which is nothing — but in what a million persistent, verifiable signatures make undeniable. Not a key out of the law, but a lever into the negotiation — the first in history that any citizen of any country can begin building today, one verified signature at a time.
Five principles that bind every hub and every campaign
The instrument is global; so is the discipline. Every hub, every campaign, every community that raises this name anywhere on Earth is bound by five principles — not as etiquette, but as the operating conditions without which the entire architecture stops working.
- 01Absolute nonviolence and legality of means
- 02Truth before recruitment
- 03Exit always survivable
- 04Consent asked, never presumed — at every level
- 05Dignity is recognised, not earned
Phase discipline
The principles imply a tempo, and the tempo is published rather than improvised. Every hub begins complementary — no member is asked to abandon the existing economy — deepens toward essential needs as its real capacity grows, and advances toward substitution only at the speed its members freely choose, measured by public thresholds, never decreed by ambition. Patience is not a compromise of the vision. It is the vision's proof of seriousness.
Not a manifesto.
A system designed to work.
This is engineered infrastructure, not a declaration. A declaration changes words; an architecture changes incentives. What follows is what we believe — and what the protocol does, line by line.
Money is institutional fact
Money is not a natural object — it's a convention we made up. Who creates it, and under which rules, is a collective decision, not a destiny. The protocol makes the rules explicit: three units we can all read, public terms we wrote together, a supply cap of 10 billion that nobody can change after the fact.
Consent renews itself; it is never assumed
Legitimate adhesion is the kind that can be revoked. Every vote, every delegation, every participation in HPP is explicit, recorded, and withdrawable. The Consent Registry makes this continuous: a standing, cryptographically verifiable instrument to affirm or revoke consent — not a referendum-event, but an index that updates permanently. Tacit consent is not consent.
Power either separates or concentrates
Concentrating the power to make rules, to punish, and to create money in the same hands is the pattern that goes wrong across centuries. The protocol separates them: the foundational rules cannot be amended, communities deliberate locally, the federation coordinates without imposing.
What the protocol commits to
What we refuse, and what we do not
The Protocol's ultimate sanction is exclusion. Against anyone who needs the network, that is powerful; against a state, it is nothing. We refuse the fantasy of courts that bind non-members — a protocol that promises protection it cannot deliver obtains membership on false pretenses. So compliance is general, and refusal is a closed list of exactly three:
Mass identity disclosure to any external party — state, corporation, intergovernmental body, payment network, identity provider.
Discretionary seizure or freeze of member holdings, by anyone, including our own organs.
Lawful-intercept backdoors in member communications.
Nothing else is refused.
An unqualified claim of full compliance would contradict all three — the Compliance Ladder ends in evacuation, something a fully compliant actor never needs. The closed circuit shrinks the surface those refusals must defend: a system with no fiat rails is not a money transmitter, lists on no exchange, and holds nothing a financial regulator can freeze. And every member receives the boundary at onboarding in plain language, per jurisdiction.
What is promised: dignity income, voice, exit, and fair adjudication within the network. What is not: protection from state power. We will never ask anyone to break their jurisdiction's law as a condition of membership. A hub facing state pressure follows the Compliance Ladder — transparency, then funded legal defence, then graceful infrastructure migration, then orderly member evacuation. No hub is left to face that alone, and no member is recruited into an undisclosed risk.
We did not invent our problems. We inherited them.
Three centuries of political philosophy stand behind this design — the full lineage, thinker by thinker, is on the Protocol page. It converges on one proposition: legitimacy is not inherited, presumed, or seized — it is measured, and it is only as real as the freedom to withdraw it.

It's what it does, not what it proclaims. The simulations we've run. The pillars we've fixed. The procedures we've published. That is the manifesto. The rest is words.
